The Twilight Saga: New Moon | Oxygen Movies

Let me preface by saying that I am wholeheartedly Team Jacob. All of you Edward fans out there, don’t judge me yet. Just hear me out.

For those of you who read “New Moon” you’ll be very happy to know that the film version remains very true to the book. “New Moon” picks up right where “Twilight” left off. Everything is lovey dovey in Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen’s (Robert Pattinson) world until their dream for everlasting, eternal love is rocked by a paper cut. It’s funny how a few drops of blood can change this perfect couple’s dream for the future. Torn between his love for Bella and his fear of hurting her, Edward decides to pack up and leave.

After a few months of moping, Bella finally decides to start living life again but it’s only with the help of her new BFF, Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) that she truly starts to heal from her broken heart. Jake’s no rebound guy! He’s way more than that. Oh, and he’s a werewolf.

This second film in the “Twilight” series focuses more on Jacob and Bella’s budding romance. Although she still loves Edward…and why wouldn’t she? He’s gorgeous, romantic, worldly, perfect in every way, etc. But there’s one problem, he’s gone. He said they’d never see each other again. Sounds like a break up to me! And if I had a smokin’ hot BFF like Jacob with a soft voice, incredible biceps and a sick six-pack… Swoon! Edward who? Bring on the wolf! If you aren’t a Twihard fan yet, you will be. There’s action, romance, crazy sexual tension, and even an overseas trip to Italy to hang out with lil Miss Dakota Fanning as creepy mini vamp, Jane.

Now a message for the fans. If you are team Edward you might be a bit disappointed. Edward is MIA for most of the film and there’s only 1 shot of his well sculpted abs. Sorry! But for my fellow Team Jacob Twihards, you are going to LOVE this movie. Jacob lost his shirt so many times that it could be a drinking game! Not that I endorse that kind of thing, but I’m just saying.

“New Moon” was OMG good. If I awarded stars I would give this movie 6 stars – one for each of Jacob’s abs. Swoon.

Personally i enjoy both .. as for Edward he looks hotter with makeup than without and well Jacob is totally hott either way. As for the movie it was okay eager for eclipse already!!

I AM TOTALLY TEAM JACOB!! He is so cute and who wouldn't want someone with thise abbs! When he is just standing there with his shirt off it is awesome. Jacob is awesome and all he wants to do is make bella happy and comfort her (without a shirt on, which i dont mind). TEAM JACOB

I read the entire saga and cant wait to start readong midnoght sun i watch the vampire diares too. i am so team Jacob. forever!but Jasper Emmett Cauis Carlisle Sam Quil Embry All freakin people in the movies are straight out of a gorgeous magizine!!!!i love the movies too!to big of a fan. the movie was a big bore...lol ...but 4 real yh it was i liked the book much more..3/4 of the ting that were in the book was not even in the show...it luked lik 2 diff. stories wid the same point..lol actually if u avn't read the book i suggest u dnt watch the show cuz u'll b all confused askin " wa appenin" an sh*t lik dat....

Yeah, I couldn't understand how Bella could fall for Jacob either while I was reading the book but when I saw New Moon I was thinking "now I know how this could happen". For one, Edward had left her and she went into this deep depression and she couldn't come out of it without Jacob. Then when Jacob "breaks up" with Bella and tells her to go away it breaks your heart to watch! Of course later on when Edward is back Bella tells Jacob that "It's always been him" meaning it's always been Edward, then that's when you feel bad for Jacob! But what's Bella to do? She's torn between a love for her Best friend and her Soul mate!

Well if you don't like her than don't watch the movies and stay away from anything Twilight! For one, she's the perfect Bella and I don't know who they could of got to play the part better! I like Kristen Stewart and the way she plays Bella is remarkable! I do agree that her acting in New Moon was a little better but Twilight was still good! I watched New Moon yesterday and I absolutely loved it! I've read all the books and the New Moon book matched the movie to a "T"! Anyway I can't wait to see Eclipse. New Moon gave a good cliff hanger too so it would be cool to do a cliff hanger for the first part of Breaking Dawn since they're thinking about making it into 2 movies! Something to think about ppl!

Why would Edward leave Bella!? And why would Bella fall 4 Jacob,I mean sure he's cute,But she LOVED Edward FIRST.Plus this movie is suppuse 2 be about EDWARD+BELLA is it,NOT about JACOB+BELLA.I mean u r going 2 confuse people,I was SHOCKED and CONFUSED just reading a few of the lines.I guess what I'm trying 2 say is this movie better be good,and Edward and Bella better get back together ,or I'll probley end up geting MAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the beginning and end of new moon! and i cant wait to see the film.Even though bella was obsessed with Edward which is extremely ubhealthy thank goodness jacob was their to lighten things up with his sense of humor. Also I think he displays acts of abusiveness by not allowing her to see Jacob because he's Jealous.

Who in there right mind wouldnt love them both, They are both very good looking and loving and would do anything for Bella, I just hope that New Monn is as good as Twilight, which I already know it will be cuz I watched the preview, I just so cant wait to see it and the next two coming up, I am so in love with the series, I think it will be to die for!!!!!

omg i loooooove the Twilight saga...ima fanatic...im TEAM EDWARD AND TEAM JACOB...i love Jacob's personality and his attitude...he is hilarious in the books...i like him becuz he never gives up and cuz he is super yummy lolz....Edward is yummier...i like Edward a little bit more...i hope they make New Moon close to the book...im seein on Midnight this Thursday...i have had my tickets for 4 months lolz...cnt wait

I LOVE TWILIGHT AND I HOPE NEW MOON IS EVEN BETTER. I AM TEAM EDWARD ALL THE WAY. I LIKE JACOB BUT WHO WANTS TO DEAL WITH A HAIRY BEAST WHEN HE GETS ALL FIRED UP I WOULD RATHER TAKE MY CHANCES WITH THE VAMP. EDWARD HAS ALWAYS LOVED BELL AND HE ONLY LEFT HER TO KEEP HER SAFE. I WILL ADMIT I CRIED WHEN HE LEFT HER IN THE BOOK. HE KNOWS THAT IF THE HEAD VAMPS HEAR ABOUT HER KNOWING THEY WILL FOR SURE KILL HER. I CANT WAIT TO GO SEE NEW MOON AS SOON AS I WAS DONE READING THE BOOK I COULDNT WAIT FOR THEM TO MAKE IT INTO A MOVIE. ALSO I CANT WAIT FOR THEM TO MAKE MOVIES OUT OF THE OTHER TO BOOKS. I HOPE THEY KEEP THE SAME ACTORS AND ACTRESSES THOUGH BECAUSE IT WOULDNT BE THE SAME WITH DOFFERENT ACTORS PLAYING THE ROLES OF THE CHARACTERS WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE.

I absolutely adore both of them. They are very much in love with Bella and will fight for her love. I have read all the books twice. I have been waiting for NEW MOON to premiere ever since Twilight came out in theatres :)
